Each lodge provides all the home comforts you could possibly need and can accommodate between 4 and 6 guests. Aviemore is in the Cairngorms National Park and is popular for visitors seeking snow sports throughout the Winter months and then in the Spring, Summer and Autumn the beautiful pine forests and mountain trials attract hill walkers and cyclists. Whichever season you choose to visit in you are guaranteed a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and busy of city life and quite magical at Christmas. The woodland lodges are all located just a short walk from the main Macdonald Aviemore Hotel Resort boasting no fewer than three hotels all rated 4 star, where you have access to a choice of restaurants including Giovanni's Italian which provides a takeaway service to the lodges, bars, indoor heated swimming pool, gym and spa.
Breakfast is complimentary in both the 2 and 3 bedroom lodges and you can enjoy either a full cooked buffet breakfast or continental version in the nearby hotel restaurant.
There is a choice of two Lodge sizes, 2 bedroom (max four person occupancy) or 3 bedroom lodges (max six person occupancy), note that a woodburning stove is only fitted in the 3 bedroom lodge. The 3 bedroom Lodges offer slightly more facilities, see below.

Can dogs stay in the lodges?
Yes, guide dogs can stay for free and other domestic pets can stay for a fee of £15 per night capped at £45 per stay.
(Note only certain lodges are designated for pets so you must pre-book your pet. Pets are not permitted in any indoor public areas).
Can you get a packed lunch?
This can be requested from the Hotel kitchens
Do the lodges have electric car charging points?
No, not at the Lodges, however there are Tesla charge points at the adjacent Highlands Hotel car park.
Do all the lodges have wood burning stoves?
No, only the 3 bedroom lodges are fitted with woodburners
Is there parking available at the lodges?
Yes there are free parking spaces at the lodges
Are the lodges suitable for wheelchair users?
Yes, some of the 3 bed Lodges have a ramp up to the front door and a ground floor layout which incorporates a double bedroom with ensuite. However there are no handrails fitted and the bathroom is not a wetroom. The shower area has a small lip on entry.
