Jurys Inn has been a very popular city centre hotel brand since 1993, operating 31 hotels in Great Britain, six in Ireland and one in the Czech Republic. Headquartered in Ireland the hotels quickly gained a reputation for providing comfortable, modern rooms which were quite a bit larger than standard city centre hotel rooms, coupled with good quality on-site restaurants and excellent prime city locations.
What happened to Jurys Inns?
They are still here but the Jury Inn hotels were acquired by the Fattal group in 2017 and continued to operate under the Jury's Inn branding until 2022 when they were re-branded as Leonardo Hotels which you see today. Basically still the same hotels but running under a new name.

There are three basic grades to choose from: Standard, Superior and Executive.
The following table details the main differences in facilities between the different grades. Note these may vary slightly in different hotels but can be checked in the online booking system.
Executive rooms tend to be more spacious and the bed size is often larger with some being super-king size.
What is the price difference between the room grades?
On average when we price checked across multiple cities for the same dates we found that you would pay about 11% more than a Standard room for a Superior room and about 22% above a standard room to get an executive grade.
Is it worth paying the extra to upgrade your room?
This is going to depend on what you need and value. The standard rooms are excellent value for money but the upgraded rooms especially the executive grade do offer some significant extras like a fridge, treats, free water and bar drink, and an earlier check-in.

If you think you may well use the hotel bar and restaurant for eating or evening drinks then the 20% discount you get with an executive room really does make it a very worthwhile upgrade which would more than pay for itself even with a single nights stay.
