Premier Inn normally have their rooms cleaned and ready for you to check in by 2pm (14:00Hr), however due to extra cleaning measures for covid this has been extended to 3pm (15:00Hr). The extra cleaning measures are part of their new Clean Protect promise which includes sanitising rooms and all touchable surfaces with anti-viral sprays.
Check In Time Latest
Premier Inn Reception is staffed 24/7, so you can check-in at any time of day. However the hotel doors may be locked at 11pm for security so you should inform hotel reception if you will be arriving later than this.
Check Out Time
Check out is by 12:00 noon on your day of departure. You do not need to see a member of staff to check out since there are no payable extras in your room and you can therefore simply deposit your room key card in the drop box found in reception on your way out.
Premier Inn Speedy Check In
In the larger Premier Inn's you will find automated check-in machines in the reception area. You can check in using the machine by simply entering two pieces of information - the name on the reservation and then either the postcode or reservation number. The machine will then check you in and issue your room card key.

Looking After Your Luggage
Premier Inn hotels all have luggage room facilities. If you arrive early before your room is ready then you will be able to leave your luggage with reception. The hotels are often able to store your luggage after checkout if your transport is delayed providing they have sufficient space.
Early check-in / extended check-out time
In some Premier Inn airport hotels to assist guests arriving or departing on early and late flights there is the option to have an early check-in from 10am for a £10 fee per room or an extended check-out time to 4pm for a £20 fee per room.
