Travelodge offer two different room rates depending on how flexible you need the booking to be, Saver Rate and Flexible Rate. The Saver Rate as its name suggests is the cheapest rate and offers the best value if you can be certain of your travel plans. If you do end up changing your Travelodge booking then the Saver Rate will end up costing you more.
- At booking you are also offered the option to add extras which are WiFi and breakfast to your chosen room rate. Note that if you subsequently cancel then only meals booked on the Flexible Rate will be refunded, WiFi is not and no extras are refundable with the Saver Rate.
- The cheapest but most restrictive rate is called the Saver Rate. This rate commits you fully to the booking as it is not refundable under any circumstances, you can however amend this booking up to 12 noon on the day of stay at the hotel subject to a £5 charge per amendment required.
- The more expensive Flexible rate allows you to cancel the booking for a full refund of the room price right up to 12 noon on the day of stay. Note if you booked WiFi as an extra then this will not be refunded.
- For both types of booking you cannot amend the actual location of the Travelodge hotel you stay at.
- Amendments are free with the Flexible Rate but cost £5 per change required on the Saver Rate.
- If the amended booking results in higher room rates you will be need to pay the difference on both the Saver and Flexible Rates.
- If the amended booking results in a cheaper room rate you will not be refunded the difference if you are on the Saver Rate but you will be if you are on the Flexible Rate.
- You can make, cancel and amend your booking from your online Travelodge account at anytime, or if you don't have an account, you can also make the change online by using your booking confirmation number to access your booking.

How to amend or cancel your booking at Travelodge

- Enter your email address and password (you can reset your password if you have forgotten it)
- Alternatively you can access your booking using your confirmation number and then choose from either your surname, name of your chosen Travelodge or the credit card you used for the booking.
