Expert guide to the Haven Play Pass

The Haven play pass is required in order to access the entertainment facilities at a Haven Park.
Without a Haven play pass you can only access the following: 

• Your accommodation
• Restaurants and order take-away food
• The mini-marts
• Laundrette
• Outside play areas
• Arcades

But remember without the play pass you cannot book any of the paid-for activities.

If you have booked a ‘Haven Holiday’ it will include play passes for all guests but if you have booked a ‘Haven Hideaway’ it won’t. Similarly if you have booked a stay in a caravan through a third party like Airbnb or Booking.com from a private caravan owner the play passes will not be included unless you got this perk added into your deal.

Do toddlers need the Haven Play Pass?
No, children under the age of 4 do not require a play pass, ages 4 - 15 do require a child's play pass and everyone aged 16+ requires an adult play pass.

Which activities are free and which are not?
Swimming is free including use of the flume slides and lazy rivers if available but remember sessions lasting 60 minutes should be booked in advance especially at peak times to avoid disappointment. Other free activities involve generally simple things not involving much, if any equipment such as nature trials, rounders and mini archery. Most of the other activities do have a charge although this often includes personal coaching if required and the costs involved are generally modest. You can also benefit from a free activity if you spend £45 on activities.

Top tips to ensure you make the most of your Haven Play Pass

• Once you have purchased your play pass you will be sent an email with your purchase receipt, keep this safe because you will need to bring it with you to collect your play pass on arrival
• Booking for both activities and restaurants opens 12 weeks before the start of your holiday - we recommend that you book early especially during peak season as activities get booked up early
• ​Remember to book for the free activities as well especially the swimming pools
• If you wish to book activities for the day you arrive then these will become available to book from seven days in advance and are available from 1pm onwards on your arrival day

How much do the Haven play passes cost?
The cost of the play pass varies depending on which Haven holiday park you are staying in (parks with more extensive facilities are more expensive) and also whether you are staying in peak season or not. Staying in peak season adds an additional 40% on average and the dates follow the school holidays.
