Can you bring your dog to Premier Inn?

Premier Inn do not allow dogs, cats or in fact any pets to accompany you on your stay with the exception of assistance dogs which can stay for free.
What qualifies as an assistance dog? All dogs in the UK officially trained to offer assistance to people with disabilities will have registration with the ADUK (Assistance Dogs UK - registered charity). Their members train guide dogs for the visually impaired, hearing dogs for profound deafness as well as a variety of other assistance dogs for specific disabilities such as epilepsy, and physical impairments. Emotional support and 'Therapy' dogs are not currently recognised as assistance dogs. |

In order for your assistance dog to stay at a Premier Inn it must be registered with the ADUK which will mean one of their accredited members has trained the dog. Full details of the ADUK registration process can be found on their website:

Hotel alternatives to Premier Inn if you wish to bring your dog or cat with you?
Unlike Premier Inn, Travelodge does allow guests to bring up to two dogs with them to stay in their room. This policy includes all of their nearly 600 hotels throughout the UK and is available for a modest additional fee of £20 per pet per stay rather than per night. This makes it much better value than other pet sitting alternatives such as kennels and avoids unnecessary separation stress for both the dogs and owners. The other major UK hotel chain in the UK which has a dog friendly policy is Best Western Hotels which allow pets to stay at 100 of their 250 hotels throughout the UK. Finally if you fancy staying in a boutique style hotel then Malmaison allows you to bring your dog to all of its hotels throughout the UK.
