Premier Inn York City Centre

York is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the Northeast of England. It is a walled city that was founded by the ancient Romans. The famous York Minster is a huge 13th-century Gothic cathedral featuring medieval stained glass and two functioning bell towers. The City Walls form a fascinating walkway on both sides of the River Ouse. Other popular attractions in York include the Castle museum, the Jorvik Viking centre and for railway enthusiasts there is the superb National Railway Museum featuring a  collection of Royal trains dating back to Queen Victoria's reign and railway artefacts. 

Just a short 30 minute drive outside the city heading North East is the magnificent Castle Howard widely regarded as one of England's finest country estates with its Palladium mansion and over 1000 acres of beautiful parkland and famously featuring in the backdrop to Brideshead Revisited. 

Premier Inn has two hotels in York city centre both on Blossom street, one is called the Premier Inn Blossom Street  North and the other is the Premier Inn Blossom Street South, with a further three hotels on the outskirts of the city. The city centre Premier Inns have paid-for parking options and the other three all offer free parking on-site.

• Premier Inn York City Centre - (Blossom Street North),  20 Blossom Street, York, North Yorkshire YO24 1AJ  Right in the heart of the city of York this Premier Inn is close to the railway station and all of the tourist attractions. There are great theatres and sights right on your doorstep including York Minster. This hotel has a Table Table restaurant offering a full menu service. The hotel offers all room types including Premium Plus, accessible and interconnecting. The hotel is air conditioned and has lifts. There is limited chargeable parking at this hotel for about 20 cars run by a private company. Overnight parking costs £13 after the discount available from the Premier Inn reception. There are also alternative chargeable car parks nearby.
• Premier Inn York City Centre (Blossom Street South) - 28-40 Blossom Street, York YO24 1AJ  This Premier Inn is located just a little way down Blossom street from the North Hotel and therefore also right in the heart of the city of York with all the tourist attractions right on your doorstep including the Minster and the Jorvik Viking Centre. This hotel has a Table Table restaurant and offers all room types. There is no on-site parking but paid for parking at a discounted rate is available nearby.
• Premier Inn York North - Clifton Park Avenue, Shipton Road, York YO30 5PA  Close to the River Ouse and Clifton Park and less than two miles from York city centre and the Clifton Moore Business Park this Premier Inn is ideally sited to make the most of all York has to offer. The hotel offers all room types, there is a Vintage Inns restaurant serving a full menu and plentiful free parking on-site.
• Premier Inn York North West - White Rose Close, York Business Park YO26 6RL Located just three and half miles outside York city centre, ideally located for the York Races or trips into the city for the sights. This hotel has a Beefeater restaurant and free parking.
• Premier Inn York South West - Bilbrough Top, Colton, YorkYO23 3PP  This hotel is six miles from the centre of York but still an easy journey into the city for all the sights. There is a Thyme restaurant  serving a full menu and unlimited free parking.
